Annual General Meeting

HSCA Annual General Meeting (AGM) and Community Open House

When: Tuesday, April 28, 2026. Doors open at 5:30pm for arrival and Open House, AGM starts promptly at 6pm.

Where: HSCA, 1320 5 Ave NW

What: A yearly gathering where we review the year, board members are elected and we celebrate community contributions through the Community Service Award. We're hosting our Community Open House (5:30pm - 7:30pm) alongside the AGM, with time to mingle, enjoy snacks and refreshments, and connect with neighbours and HSCA staff.

Registration: Pre-registration is preferred as it helps us know how many people to expect for the AGM. Please fill out the form here or click the button below. Registration for the Open House is not required - pop in anytime!

If you wish to vote and run for Board positions, please ensure you renew or purchase your HSCA Membership 30 days prior to the AGM (by March 29, 2026). Click the button below to renew or purchase your HSCA Memberships through our online store.

Resident participation in the Board of Directors voting and nomination process is highly encouraged. Our Board of Directors at HSCA has an active involvement with numerous programs, events and activities in the facility and the community. The Board also operates critical task forces and committees. Hillhurst Sunnyside residents with valid HSCA membership are encouraged also to run for Board positions. We are a diverse group of motivated professionals working on interesting and engaging projects for a forward-looking community association. HSCA Community Service Award (CSA)- Nominations

Do you know someone in our community making a meaningful difference? Consider nominating them for HSCA's Community Service Award (CSA) so we can celebrate their achievements!

HSCA's Community Service Award recognizes and honours individuals whose volunteer achievements or community service efforts have contributed to the well-being of the Hillhurst Sunnyside community and its community members. Nominations are reviewed by a selection committee, who determine the final award recipients.

If you know someone who you would like to nominate for the Community Service Award, please connect with them before submitting the CSA Nomination Form so they’re aware and comfortable with it.
