Annual General Meeting

rEVISED hsca BYlaws- For Approval

A comprehensive review of the bylaws has been completed with three primary goals:

  • Clarify and simplify language and process;

  • Reordering and renumbering for clarity and flow;

  • Add/revise articles to bring them to current standard of practice (for example, electronic meetings).

Some content has been removed with the intent that it can be covered more comprehensively via board governance policies, rather than within the bylaws themselves, for example, how the delegation to the Executive Director is handled.

HSCA BOARD OF DIRECTORS VOTING AND NOMINATIONS 

If you wish to vote and run for Board positions, please ensure you renew or purchase your HSCA Membership 30 days prior to the AGM (by March 25th, 2024). Click the button below to renew or purchase your HSCA Memberships through our online store.

Resident participation in the Board of Directors voting and nomination process is highly encouraged. Our Board of Directors at HSCA has an active involvement with numerous programs, events and activities in the facility and the community. The Board also operates critical task forces and committees. Hillhurst Sunnyside residents with valid HSCA membership are encouraged also to run for Board positions. We are a diverse group of motivated professionals working on interesting and engaging projects for a forward-looking community association. HSCA Community Service Award (CSA)- Nominations closed

Each year, HSCA recognizes an individual whose volunteer achievements or community service efforts have contributed to the well-being of the Hillhurst Sunnyside community through our Community Service Award (CSA).
