2025 Neighbour Day Events

Updates- Sunnyside Neighbour Day Parade Moves to Sunday, June 22

This year, Neighbour Day falls on Saturday, June 21, which also marks National Indigenous Peoples Day — a time to honour and celebrate the rich cultures, traditions, and contributions of First Nations, Inuit, and Métis peoples.

In recognition of this important day, Sunnyside residents have decided to hold their annual Neighbour Day Parade on Sunday, June 22 instead. This change allows neighbours to attend and participate in the many events taking place across Calgary in celebration of National Indigenous Peoples Day.
