If you are a developer who is interested in engaging with the community for feedback on an upcoming development, you can find HSCA’s booking calendar here and our communications submission guidelines here. We encourage both in-person and virtual engagement opportunities and we will be happy to share your promotional information.
Developers and applicants can request to present their project to the Hillhurst Sunnyside Planning Committee by reaching out to the Planning Coordinator (planning@hsca.ca). Requests should include applicant information, site information and if available, DP or LOC file number.
How to best engage the neighbourhood
We strongly encourage applicants to engage with directly affected stakeholders as early and directly as possible. In our experience good engagement goes a long way to decrease risk and create a smoother planning process. Please see our suggestions below on engagement practices:
