Chair Yoga - Online and In-Person

Tuesdays and Thursdays 10:00am-11:00am

To register, please contact Debbie at 403-283-0554 ext 224 or debbie.o@hsca.ca

For Chair Yoga moving forward we are trying a hybrid model, meaning that many participants will still be joining online while some participants may join the class in person.

If you would like to join the class in person, you will be following Sharon on the screen in the Hearth Room. There will be a limited number of participants allowed and some safety info you need to be aware of, so connect with me directly if you would like to join.

The classes are Tuesday and Thursday from 10:00 am to 11:00 am, you will need to arrive at least 15 minutes before the class begins to settle in.

If you would like to join the online class, connect directly with me to receive the link or would like more information about the in-person or online classes.

This is a gentle exercise class that will help you to move and stay limber, especially during the winter when you may not be walking as much. Come join us.

Caregiver Connections- ONLINE

Check out the Caregiver Connection page here.

Runs the third Thursday of each month, from 7 to 9 pm

If you provide paid or unpaid emotionally, physical, or practical support, such as grocery shopping, transportation to appointments, medicine reminders, paying bills etc., then you are a Caregiver. It doesn’t matter if the person you are supporting is living with you, living in their own home, or even living in a congregate setting such as supported living or long-term care, if you are the primary contact, and provide any type of support, then you are a caregiver.

The pandemic has created additional challenges for anyone who is providing any type of support for another individual, which can grow more stressful, challenging and make us feel alone. We do not always know where to turn or who to connect with and often we don’t want to share our challenges and struggles with those we know as they may not understand our journey.

Caregiver Connections is an online connection, that provides a safe and welcoming environment for all Caregivers to share their journey with other caregivers and learn, explore and connect with information and supports that could help make your journey a little less stressful and more manageable.

This Connection currently happens on the third Thursday of each month, from 7 to 9 pm on the Zoom platform. You will need to have a computer, laptop or tablet and internet access to connect with this group. If you would like to join but have other ideas as to a time that will work better for you, let me know and based on feedback, I will come up with an additional meeting that will work better. I can also arrange to connect with you individually if you are not comfortable taking part in a group setting just yet.

If you would like to join, but have other ideas as to a time that will work better for you, let me know and based on feedback, I will come up with a meeting plan. Send Debbie your thoughts by email Debbie.o@hsca.ca or call her at 403-283-0554, ext 224 and leave me a message. Debbie will return your call/email to talk about options, explore your thoughts, ideas, or questions or just to talk. You will need to connect with Debbie to receive an invite to join the gathering.
