HSCA is a registered charitable organization. Donations are tax deductible. Donors to the United Way may direct all or a portion of their contribution to HSCA through the United Way of Calgary, Donor Choice program. In 2006 we received $921.23 through this program.
Benefits of HSCA Membership:
  • Reduced rates on the rental of the facility for special events, drop-in sports, some special event admissions and parking lot fees.
  • Reduced rates for some programs.
  • A 20 per cent discount at the Bowview Outdoor Pool.
  • Use of the tennis court.
  • A discount on group home and auto insurance rates through Smith Insurance Brokers Ltd. (in conjunction with FCC) - call the community centre for information.
Membership fees are:
Community residents:
Individual Senior (65+) $5.00; Individual $10.00,
Family $20.00
Non-community residents:
Individual Senior $10.00; Individual $15.00,
Family $25.00

We have 2 public access computers at the Community Centre. They are available from 8:30 am to 8:00 pm from Monday to Saturday (hours may vary if our rental space has been pre-booked) This program is operated in partnership with the Government of Canada.
